The day begins early at the meeting place in Beaufort where the group takes off for Hunting Island in the pre dawn hours. We are on the beach as dawn is breaking, capturing the various stages of sunrise and the warm light on the palmettos and live oaks of the maritime forest. Throughout the day, we will also photograph the lighthouse, historic churches and buildings, macro and close up subjects, widllife, the saltwater marsh, and finally sunset. It's a very full and very rewarding day. More info... |

There's good reason the Smokies are called "Wildflower National Park!" More info... |
