Using Asheville as the base of operations, both grand landscapes and intimate scenics will be photographed with an emphasis on learning composition, proper exposure with a digital camera, and capturing the striking color of the season.

Sunrises, sunsets, waterfalls, river scenes, close-ups, and mountain ridges and vistas will all be on the photographic agenda. Some photography will be done from the Blue Ridge Parkway itself, while other locations will require short, non-strenuous hikes to lesser-known, out-of-the-way spots.
