Come experience the Old South at its best! We will photograph plantations and lush gardens with blooming azaleas and moss-draped live oak trees. Wildflowers and wildlife abound as spring breaks long the low country of South Carolina. We will also spend an afternoon in historic downtown Charleston photographing the old homesteads and churches along Battery Park and the charm of the old city. This one-day instructional workshop will take you to many of the best waterfalls in North and South Carolina. The exact locations are not known until the day of the event. The North Carolina's Outer Banks is a magical place landscaped through the ages by wind, water, and drifting sand. From the exquisitely sculpted dunes of Ocracoke, to the prolific migratory waterfowl at Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge, to the unique landforms at Cape Hatteras, photography subjects abound. You are never far from water and sunrises and sunsets are some of the finest you will see anywhere. There are three scenic lighthouses in the immediate area that Richard will help you photograph with unique perspectives and dynamic compositions. How to register for a workshopTo reserve a roster spot in one of our workshops, please mail the fulltuition with the downloadable registration form to the address below. All spaces are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you have requested to register for a workshop that is full, your name can be placed on a waiting list in the event of a cancelation. Richard Bernabe Photography A sixty-day notice by e-mail, telephone, or mail must be given in order to receive a full refund for a deposit or tuition. A rain-day refund will only be given if the entire event is rained out. A 20% percent discount will be given if one of a two-day workshop is completely rained out. If weather prevents fieldwork on a particular day, image critiques and digital darkroom techniques can be substituted for lost time in the field. |
