Hey folks,
Just wanted to post a few images from my recent trip to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks near Moab, Utah from last month. The weather was perfect; great light, clouds, some rain, clear starry nights, a little of nearly everything for the nature and landscape photographer. These images were either during the photo workshop I was leading or the week prior on my own. If you missed it, don’t despair. I’ll soon be listing another trip to the area for early November, 2013. Stay tuned. These are not all, mind you, but merely a few of my favorites.

Really fantastic images Richard! Love the Double Arch star trails.
Richard, is there any where on your site that explains how you obtained the second photo from the top. The arch that shows the stars in motion. I would imagine you used a 10 stop nd filter and a flash…maybe???????????? You are such an inspiration to us budding photog wannabes. thank you. Joe
Fantastic images Richard, it was great meeting you at Dead Horse Point that morning!

Breathaking, Richard.
