Come photograph the southern charm of Charleston, South Carolina during the peak alazea and dogwood bloom! In addition to photographing gardens and old plantations, we will explore many of the area's natural areas such as the ACE Basin, Botany Bay, Edisto Island, and more. There is also an evening planned creating images from the historic downtown of Charleston. There is no exact itinerary of the weekend's events as I , as your guide and photo instructor, need flexibility in getting us, as a group, to the best places during the best light and weather.
Group hotel reservations will be made for those needing lodging. Please ask if interested. It should be noted that tuition covers the workshop instruction only and does not include lodging or meals during the weekend.
 
This is both an instructional weekend and a tour of some of the Charleston area's most scenic areas, particularly for the springtime. In addition to having tremendous opportunities to photograph landscapes, wildlife, and historic plantations and gardens, you will be learning the field techniques that will allow you to capture the very best images from the area. That knowledge, however, you take with you and use for a lifetime.
